Up the Yangtze Film Screening and Panel Discussion

Join us for this special event--a free public screening and panel discussion of the award-winning documentary, Up the Yangtze, and a conversation with the film’s director. This beautiful, critically acclaimed documentary offers a moving portrait of displacement resulting from China’s Three Gorges Dam, the world's largest hydroelectric project.

Immediately after the film screening, we will welcome the film’s director, Yung Chang, who will participate in a Q & A session with our audience through video link from Canada. Our conversation with Mr. Chang will be followed by a discussion panel, moderated by the International Accountability Project's Arts & Media Program Coordinator, Molly Clinehens. The panel will feature Peter Bosshard, Policy Director, International Rivers; Adina Matisoff, China Sustainable Finance Campaigner, Friends of the Earth; Xiu Min Li, China Program Associate, Pacific Environment.
