Save the Bued River Movement

Intended to educate people, clean up the Bued River and kick-off a voluntary group to monitor and plant along its banks, this event took place in the Cordillera region of the Philippines on March 11th. The Bued has been nearly killed biologically by mines that operated in the province of Benguet and dumped their silt and heavy metal deposits in the river. There was a river clean up and an educational lecture for people living along the banks. It took place at: Bued River, Km, 4, Tuba, Benguet, Philippines.
