Li Miao Lovett

Li Miao Lovett is an award-winning author from San Francisco who tells stories of cultural and environmental change. Her debut novel, In the Lap of the Gods (Leapfrog Press, 2010), tells the tale of the dam that uproots a million lives and a poor salvager who losses everything but finds an abandoned baby girl. Lovett has published articles and stories in Narrative Magazine, Earth Island Journal, San Francisco Chronicle, KQED Perspectives, and others. Her literary work has won awards in both fiction and nonfiction.
