Conservacion Patagonica was founded in 2000 by American conservationist Kristine M. Tompkins and a board of directors comprised of conservation and business luminaries. Over the past two decades, she has worked with her husband, businessman and philanthropist Douglas Tompkins, to place more than two million acres of land under permanent protection.
